“The Lord, the Redeemer and Holy One of Israel, says to the one who is despised and rejected by the nations, to the one who is the servant of rulers: “Kings will stand at attention when you pass by. Princes will also bow low because of the Lord, the faithful one, the Holy One of Israel, who has chosen you.”
Isaiah 49:7
We function as the hands and feet of Jesus. Two years ago the Lord gave me a quote that I put up on the mirror of my bathroom.
“Do not look to distractions but keep your eyes on me.”
I have read that many times on a daily basis. Raising my gaze on Him. Feasting my eyes on Him. Telling my thoughts and mind to stop festering on the distractions that the world offers me and filter it by looking to the Father.
My purpose is to be the revelation of the Father. I must continually seek His face, look to the Word to see who He is, what His character is like, see what I need to do to obey, in order to walk out the calling set before me. This is who I am. This is who He has called me to be. I have a uniqueness about me that He can use. So when Isaiah 49:7 says I may be rejected, condemned, brushed aside, it also says that I am to walk confidently amongst the highly favored of this world and they WILL recognize me for who I truly am. But i must first learn to walk in the walk of truth He has called me to.
My Prayer:
Father, help me to be genuine to who I am, who you called me to be. Thank you how you faceted me so beautifully and courageously in the womb of my mother. How you delight in me. Help me to focus my eyes on you continually Papa. Draw me closer to your Love and understanding. You are outrageously good! Amen!

Lovely April. One can always feast on what you write.
You started the blog! And you have such good things to say too. 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Love your post and your heart for Him! ❤️❤️👏🏼👏🏼
What a beautiful gift the Lord gave you “Do not look to distractions but keep your eyes on me” – oh how we all need to do that more. You are a gifted and courageous young woman of God. Stepping out in faith, being obedient is how we get to say “I love you to God” Great blog!
Amen, April. You and your family stepped away from your comfort zone to be His hands and feet, and to serve Him in the ways He designed for you. I’m glad you did so and glad you started writing. You will bear fruit for Him as you follow His lead.
God created with His Word, and shaped us with His Hands. As images of Him, we also do both: we write or speak creatively in words and we create with our hands in crafts and arts or with our whole body in drama or dance. I am so glad you are sharing your thoughts with the world, and hope you will get many avid readers. Blessings!
